Another Pans Card - The Taj Mahal

I’m not sure who this is for yet, just added it to my ‘store draw’.
I started by cutting a piece of white linin card and used the red pan to fully cover the card.  I then matt & layered this onto the the craftwork card.  I then cut a slightly smaller piece of white linin card, (not forgetting the sun); blending the red & yellow pans until I have achieved the effect I wanted;
stamped the Taj Mahal & orange blossom then matt & layered onto black linin card, added glossy accents to the dome of the Taj to make it ‘pop’.  Fixed this onto the red card using foam pads to give it a bit of height; stamped the sentiment onto a small piece of linin card used red pan to colour coordinate with the main card & matt onto black linin card before fixing onto the main image. Job done..

My default base card is a square 5'' x 5'' Craftwork card
White linin card from the papermill
Pans; Permanent Red & Hansa Yellow
Stamps; Clarity Taj Mahal
Sentiment; Clarity Sending You Sunshine
From my stash; orange blossom wooden stamp, black candi & Glossy Accents
Hope you like this one, I had fun making it.
Thanks for looking

Captains Cards

2nd Post is for the Incoming Captain Louise

Having binned my 1st attempt at Louise’s card, this was a much more successful card.  Using my default square craftwork card I matt & layered over the white card using the teal cardstock, (I love the look of this against the white as it really makes it pop) I turned two of the corners using brads to show the white beneath.  Then randomly matt & layered different coloured lengths & widths of card stock over the teal.  I then stamped smooth white card with the three Clarity postcard stamps, I finally wrote the ‘post card’, added the clothes peg & butterfly.  That’s it folks.
All card is from the papermill, the colours I’ve used on this card is;
Teal, Spring Green, Lilac, & Navy
Clarity post card stamp set
Flowers were from Wild Orchard Crafts
Butterfly, mini clothes peg & brads all from my stash
Hope you like them both, thanks for looking

Captain's Cards

I’m a member of Kings Hill Golf Club and today we have our AGM, the 1st post is a card I made for  our outgoing lady captain.

1st Post Outgoing Captain Jo’s card
Last Saturday at Eileen’s Allhallows workshop (, we were messing about with all things stencil &paste. I used the Lavinia poppy stencil ( & as soon as I made the topper I thought it would make a lovely focus for a card.

Starting with the blank white craftwork card, I mat & layered a piece of white hammered card, adding ribbon to the toppers edge then matt & layered it over the hammered card using a doyley to create another layer and texture.  I added flowers, pins, gems & the craftwork sentiment & there you have it, my version of an all-white card.  I’m really pleased with this one; it came together without me changing anything.

My default base card is a square Craftwork 148x148 white card
White linin card from the papermill
White hammered card from the papermill
Lavinia Poppy Stencil
Dreamweaver pearlescent paste
Sentiment; craftwork cards
Pins, doyley, gems, pinch of glamor dust & ribbon from my stash

Eileens's Workshop

Afternoon, thanks for stopping by on this cold Sunday.

Yesterday was my favourite Saturday of the month when I get to go to Eileen Goodman's workshop. . Yesterday was all about PanPastles, so getting messy was the order of the day.

We were using paste's stencils & masks then using Pans to colour.  Really interesting as all of the wonderful Eileen’s classes are.  (She does pay me to say these things)..

For those of u who follow Eileen blog you will be aware of Holly, Daisy & Snowflake, all 3 visited us during the day, got to have a stroke although not too close to Snowflake because she bites, she demonstrated this to good effect on Eileen's husband, poor Ken, but he really mustn’t say those words out loud…

Anyway I digress, my creations are below;

I also did another topper but I will post this later as I've spent this morning making it into a card for someone, I'll explain later...

See you soon.

I’ve chosen to show you my favourite 12 card (not in any particular preference order) to start off my new blog. Sorry no recipes this time but in future I will (hopefully) include everything.

See you real soon,

 And then last year I discovered PanPastles! With the every patient Eileen Goodman
             ( ) & her wonderful monthly workshops, I’m learning how to use them. I made this for a fellow golfers birthday in 2012, using Lavinia Stamps.
